Hālona Spray

Named for the lookout where waves crash against lava rock, these vintage resin studs reflect the colors of sea spray and sunset, with swirls of red, gold, and white.

In his early teens, Leighton began making surfboards. This evolved into resin-based art and jewelry. 'Ear Art,' his first jewelry collection, was made from surfboard resin. That collection includes this piece. Leighton stopped making surfboard resin jewelry in the early 1990s and will not be making pieces like this again.
